Write a Book on Any Topic—And Change How Thousands See You
We recorded structured conversations for 30 hours, turned them into a book—and thousands bought it.
When we started working on FIREDOM, we had never written a book before—and certainly didn’t think of ourselves as “authors.” We just had something we wanted to say: a story about financial independence, freedom, and doing things differently.
We recorded structured conversations over a few weekends, shaped them using a clear process, and self-published the final version—for a total cost of less than $200.
We expected a few friends to read it. Instead, thousands bought it.
But the biggest shift wasn’t just the numbers—it was how people began to see us.
The Real Shift: Recognition
People now introduce us as “the authors of FIREDOM.” It’s changed how we’re perceived in conversations, careers, and even casual circles. Publishing a book—especially one people actually read—creates a kind of credibility that is pleasant.
And surprisingly, it’s not just for “experts” or niche influencers. We’ve learned that almost anyone with a meaningful perspective can do it—on almost any topic.
The Process We Followed (You can too!)
We didn’t just wing it. We built and followed a repeatable system—and we’re turning it into a book-writing intelligent assistant to help others do the same in 30 guided hours.
Here’s the backbone of that process:
🟡 1. Start with a topic you care about
Not a niche. Not a trend. Just something you can talk about for hours—because that keeps the ideas flowing. And when you communicate genuine passion, readers feel it.
If you care deeply and speak clearly, you’ll find there’s thousands of readers for almost any topic.
🟡 2. Narrate, don’t write
The key to writing books well—and fast—is narration. If we’d tried to write FIREDOM word by word, it might still be sitting in a Google Doc.
Instead, we structured our ideas, hit record, and spoke our way to the first draft. Talking is easier than typing. Talking with purpose? That’s a first draft.
🟡 3. Use structured conversations to extract depth
Think of book creation like layering. You don’t need everything at once. With the right questions, each conversation uncovers another layer of insight or story. It's an organic way to build something strong without stalling.
🟡 4. Apply the science of story and structure
As former McKinsey and BCG consultants, we were trained to capture attention fast, distill complexity, and shape compelling narratives. There’s a science to writing clearly, persuasively, and with momentum—and we used it here and are codifying it in the intelligent assistant.
🟡 5. Edit with precision, not guesswork
Sometimes you need to adjust your whole narrative. Sometimes it’s a subplot or theme that’s off. Other times, it’s just one illustrative story that doesn’t land.
We learned to tell the difference.
We also learned the four types of edits: simplify, deepen, replace, or delete. Knowing which one to use—and when—is the real skill.
🟡 6. Start your marketing inside the book
Sales begin long before the launch. By referencing the right people, stories, and organizations, your book becomes a conversation starter—and your early readers become ambassadors. We've seen it work firsthand.
🟡 7. Maximize revenue with smart decisions
We sold hardcovers at $50—not because they cost that much to produce, but because price signals value.
People are more likely to believe a book is worth reading when it feels worth buying. (Of course, you still have to deliver on that value—but the right price sets the tone.)
We sold online, self-printed and sold offline. We found ways to produce some copies for under $5. We discovered that book-signings can help get higher selling prices and leveraged it in zero-cost signing events.. These little levers add up fast—and give you freedom to reinvest or scale.
🟡 8. Choose your publishing languages wisely
The language you publish in can make or break your book’s reach. English isn’t always the only (or best) option. We used AI and trusted super-readers to adapt the manuscript into multiple languages—at virtually no cost. With the right tools and collaborators, you can reach entirely new audiences without rewriting your book from scratch.
What We’re Building
We’re turning everything we learned into something new: an intelligent tool that helps you write, publish, promote a best-seller by simply having guided audio conversations—for just 30 hours and watching the sales and recognition come in.
The tool asks the right questions. Structures the narrative. Captures your voice. Helps you edit. And gets your book ready to publish, recommends platforms, print options, creates a promotion plan for you to follow including signing events, speaking events, outreach templates for marketing and blogging.
We’ll be launching soon—and if you'd like to be one of the first to try it, we’d love to hear from you.
