🚨 Big News: My Next Project — Off-Peak
Against the current, with intention
For a while now, I’ve been sitting with an idea — an idea that’s less about numbers and spreadsheets and more about life itself. About choosing to live against the current. About going Off-Peak.
I held off on sharing this earlier because I wanted to talk it through with my FIREDOM partner, Olumide — someone who deeply understands the spirit behind what I’m trying to create. And I’m so glad I did.
Because as soon as I explained it, he said: “Call it Off-Peak.”
And that was it. That was the title. It captures everything I’ve been trying to express.
What Is Off-Peak?
It’s about how so much of life is designed around everyone doing the same things at the same time — commuting at 9am, vacationing during school breaks, retiring at 65. That synchronized living creates peak demand everywhere — in time, money, energy, even headspace — and ironically, it makes life harder for all of us.
But when you consciously choose to live off-peak — and this is more possible than people think — life starts to feel different. There's more room to breathe. More flexibility. More opportunity.
That’s what Off-Peak is about: telling stories and sharing insights from people who’ve stepped outside the usual timing of life. Yes, some of those stories tie directly into FIREDOM — financial independence, early retirement, location freedom. But the concept is wider than that.
You can live healthier off-peak.
You can save more money off-peak.
You can learn faster off-peak.
You can be more present off-peak.
It’s a shift in rhythm — and in mindset — that opens the door to a quieter, richer, more intentional life.
What Format Will It Take?
A book?
A podcast?
A digital series or something more interactive?
Time will tell. I’m giving myself the freedom to discover the shape as I build it.
But one thing is certain: the project is happening, and it’s going live before the end of the year.
